Servicing Terms & Conditions

The following is a declaration that all customers will sign at the point of delivery of equipment for servicing:

Cylinder Service:

“I accept that the above cylinder/s and valve/s will be tested and/or inspected in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements, BS EN 1802, BS 1968, BS ISO 11623 and CP11:2011 (as applicable) and IDEST Accredited ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standards. If successfully passed the cylinder will be durably marked or stamped in accordance with EN ISO 13769:201. In the event of either the cylinder or valve failing to meet the appropriate standard, it will be destroyed and not returned to me. I understand that no charge will be made in the event the cylinder will be destroyed. Cylinders and / or valves will not be returned separately. I also accept that goods not collected within 3 months may be sold to defray costs. Please carry out all work required to return the cylinder and valve to service.”

Regulator/BCD/Computer/Watch & Transmitter Service:

“I accept that the above equipment will be inspected, serviced & tested by a manufacturer’s approved & trained Technician. Only manufacturer’s service kits/replacement parts will be used and all equipment parameters will be adjusted and set to manufacturer’s specifications. If the equipment is flawed or damaged beyond service or warranty parameters the Technician will contact me to discuss options. If flawed or damaged regulators are returned they will be disassembled and I will not use the regulators. I also accept that goods not collected within 3 months may be sold to defray costs. Please carry out all work required to return the equipment to service.”
